Dension MP3 player for '99 LS400

Has anyone hooked up a Dension player directly to the factory installed system without using an FM modulator? I'd also like to find out if the OEM system in these cars is made by Pioneer? Mine is a unit marked Lexus with a CD changer in the Glove compartment. Dension is due to release a CD changer emulator (Sony & Alpine compatible, possibly Pioneer too) soon which should allow use of the existing radio buttons. Thanks.

My 2000 ES300 is a Pioneer. Pull the radio and look on the bottom of the case. You may have to remove the radio

from a DIN rack first. If it's a Pioneer it should

have this sticker:

KEX-M8196ZT is the Pioneer model number
