JETLAG Posted April 18, 2007 Share Posted April 18, 2007 I have a 94 LS400 that I replaced the battery in and now the radio is locked down in SEC mode. TexasLexus94 Posted April 19, 2007 Share Posted April 19, 2007 If you've tried the instructions in the manual, that means you've applied 10 or so numbers that did not work, and got locked out. So you're in trouble. Apparently you did not know the correct code. So your choice is to contact the previous owner and see if he/she knows the code. Even then, it's probably too late, since the radio will not accept another code attempt. I was going to recommend that you use the last 3 digits in the Vin number, but it's probably too late for that, too. So you need to drive the Lexus to the dealer, and pay for one hour or more of service time for them to get in the back of the radio, and reset it.
