rob352 Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 i need to replace my alternator, and just the part from the lexus dealer is $340, i dont even want to know what they'll charge to install it. I found an alterator for about $200, but i need to know how to replace it. i've done it in other cars, but this engine is different than anything ive worked on before. is there a belt tensioner? are there any bolts that are reverse threaded? anything else i should know? its my only car, so i kinda need some help soon. thanks. -- Rob 1993 SC300 Auto 130K+ Original No mods Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
