Mattboy
This is my first post on the forum so Hi! I've already learnt so much about my new (second hand) 96 ES 300. Love the car but the cost of getting things fixed scares the hell out me so I guess I better start learning how to be a mechanic. One question....There are times when I would like to lock my car, but leave the alarm switched off. For instance when it's in my garage. Is there a way to do this? I'm the token Australian member and journalist, so there's 2 reasons to hate me. Just out of curiousity...why would you want to switch the alarm off? Cheers Stephen Stephen Because if I need to leave the car in the garage for 4 weeks I would feel uncomfortable about it draining the battery, for one, and false alarms. I would like to have the option to switch off the alarm. Nice to know there are 2 Lexus owners in Australia! :D
