arnage Posted November 15, 2006 Share Posted November 15, 2006 I am also searching for one of these; does anyone know why there is a seemingly scarce supply? A quick check on ebay and the internet turns up leads for the 90-94 bumper covers and the 01-03 bumper covers, but nothing for 98-00 besides the bumper reinforcement. The front bumper on mine looks to have had some putty put into it (or a dent was popped out somehow). I am still considering whether to buy another to install (if I could actually find one...), or try to have the current one repainted. Any ideas as to what's the most sensible approach? My local dealer quoted $499 for a new OEM bumper unpainted. The bodyshop they are affiliated with would charge $300 for paint and labor. $799 seems relatively steep to me, if I could figure out a way to just repaint the whole thing and call it a day.
