When I got it, and followed the instruction to program the new key, I must have messed up along the step. Now my existing spare will not lock or unlock my rx300, thus doesn't arm the alarm system either. Is there something I can do to fix this? Any help would be appreciated. I recently bought a new "smart key" from streetkeys.com in CA-- $35 for the housing and blank key - $35 for programming (which wasn't necessary) - $30 for the lock smith at his location to save the $40 house call charge. - bottom line = I replaced the original smart keys which cracked with the vendor key for $70 vs the $300 plus quote from Lexus.
