over40driver Posted March 24, 2006 Share Posted March 24, 2006 I am sure this subject has been covered in the past but when I read that another member had thread problems,I thought I should tell my story, I have only had my 95 sc400 for 3 weeks, have had and worked on many sports cars. My car has 118000 miles and I believe this is the first time the filter has been changed. The furrel nuts broke loose normally but quickly got tight again, the gas would not stop running out and the only way I got it back together was with a 14 mm line wrench, and a good pair of vise grips, I was using a toyota filter, lost about 1.5 gallons of gas.
