97 Lexus Keyless Remote Query

I have the old school keyless remote for my 97 Lexus ES300. 2 parts (One key,one remote). Is it possible to upgrade the remote to the new all-in-one keyless remote?

I probably have to pay an arm and a leg to do it but I'm thinking it may be worth it.

I would guess not, based on the assumption that Lexus' with the dongle separate from the key would have different security setups from new Lexus' with integrated keyless into the key. But I am not sure... just my two cents.
