lexus082 Posted October 21, 2005 Share Posted October 21, 2005 I was wondering if I ever need to get a new engine or if I buy a used engine from somewhere and I have a CA emission car now... How would I go about getting a replacement engine. I guess the best option would be just to replace it with a CA engine. But if I couldn't get a California engine would it just be better to have the engine re-built rather than to change over all the necessary parts to convert a car from being a CA car to meet the federal standards?
