when i get a new subwoofer...do i need to get a new amp and in dash cd reciever....can i just connect the new sub to my stock in dash reciever and amp?

definatly get an aftermarket amplifier for the sub, a aftermarket source unit can give you better sound quality depending on how far you want to take the system. If you want to keep the stock deck get a high quality LOC such as the Audio Control LC6 let us know if you have any further questions.
