Mark Levinso Rx Hybrid

Hallo everybody.I would like to know if the Mark Levinson complete soundsystem for the Lexus RX400h supports MP3 and and WMP files.It is very helpfull to use CD's with MP3 files on and even better DVD's.

I also have noticed plenty of complains about the Mark Levinson System,therefore I am thinking of installing a different source (Alpine),is this possible,will it a different player fit and can I use the Lexus Navigator screen to watch movies?

Also I need to know if using different amplifyers and loudspeakers etc.,will not cause any problems since it is connected to a different battery right?
