I Got A Price Quote For Electronics Repair

Today I stopped by the "only" shop that can fix my cd changer and LCD on my radio, according to the lexus authorized repair center. He quoted me $300-$400 to get my CD changer working and $300 to replace the LCD display in my radio and repair the backlighting.

Does $600- $700 seem appropriate for the job or should I try to find another place? Would it be more cost efficient to replace the factory cd changer with a newer one to play CD-R's? Thanks for your help!
