bunthorne Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 Hi all! I'm an old guy with young car interests. Had a BMW 328IS that was wrecked and never the same at 120000 miles. Now my IS 300 has 92000 miles and I just did the timing belt and seals for 1000 bucks + dealer 90000 service for 900. Car runs perfect of course, except it's now a little floaty, leans a bit too much, and dives on hard braking. In other words, it needs shocks. However, I remember the OEMs as harder than my BMW, and, like I say I'm an old !Removed!. so I wonder whether Bilsteins would be smoother?
