Jimzer01 Posted 2 hours ago Share Posted 2 hours ago I bought my 2013 ES350 3 years ago in November. After about 3 or 4 months I started to notice the sound of a rattle. Rattle only happens if I go fast then have to hit the breaks or if I go over bumps. It sounds like the rattle is coming from somewhere on the drivers side near the steering wheel or behind the dashboard. I've brought it to the dealership multiple times and they've said they didn't hear it or they're not sure what it is. On this model, the steering wheels automatically extends out once the car is on and then automatically contracts once the car is turned off. I suspect that something in the steering column is loose and that's what the rattling is. It honestly doesn't affect the driving at all, only just a bit of a nuisance.
