2005 RX330 Charcoal vapor canister

An exhaust leak right below the vapor canister melted a hole in the canister. Can anyone with this year and model confirm if there is supposed to be a heat shield between the exhaust pipe and the canister?  I don't think so, and the dealer could only supply a part number that fits RX400h.
