KeithR3 Posted September 27, 2004 Share Posted September 27, 2004 Hello, I'm new here and just wanted to let you guys know that I just picked up an 05 IS300. The car drives great, fun and comfortable. First gear is a little lazy but as soon as you get to 2nd and 3rd, the fun really begins. I love the amenities on this car, this is my first luxury sports car. My previous was a 00 M Coupe then a 1996 Porsche C4S. Can't really compare these cars, they are all great for what they are. I do notice a thump sound when shifiting gears, is this normal for the 5 speed manual? Is there something that can be done to eliminate the thump sound? All in all it is a great car.
