  1. Thanks gbhrps. How do you like the ES350? Anyway, I have learned that on this transmission, there is no dedicated VSS. I have the U140E transmission which only had 2 speed sensors, one for input speed and one for counter gear. Without yet testing them, I think they are good because the trans shifts just like it always has - good. The 2002 and up Camry/Avalon had a similar transmission, the 1999 Camry carried a transmission that had a dedicated VSS - located under the throttle body with 3 wires. Next step is to pull ABS codes, reset ABS computer, recheck wiring integrity, and see if the ABS codes come back. Anyone have any other ideas?
  2. Ok, I've spent 2 hours trying to find the location of the speedometer sensor in my 99 ES300. I've traced all the harnesses, put the car on ramps, pulled the air box, cruise control module, battery, everything to be able to see the sensor. I have located the 2 speed sensors, both have 2 wires each. My speedometer doesn't work and it's throwing a P0500. Can someone please help??? Thanks in advance.
