  1. Car always seems to be pulling. Sometimes left and sometimes right. Road may be crowned or flat. I get tired of always having to apply pressure one way or the other to the wheel. Had the tires replaced and front end alligned. Any other suggestions.
  2. Not sure I can stream from my laptop.
  3. Does anyone know if my 2011 ES350 has an audio input jack for the radio/sound system? Thanks in advance, Dave
  4. Sorry, must have pushed the wrong button. Anyhow, I had a 2005 ES330 which I loved, so I bought a 2011 ES350 which I don't like at all. But I'm still into the Lexus Quality/Reliability mistique. I figure Toyota must realize their errors, and will come up with the next itteration soon. Anyone know when? Cause I do not like this car. I'm getting impatient.
  5. I bought a 2005 ES330 which I loved and then a 2011 ES350 which I don't like. So I'm still into the Lexus
  6. Thank you very much. It worked for me. By the way, it will be a cold day in Hell when I go to a Lexus dealership for anything not covered under warranty. My wife takes care of that just fine.
  7. 2011 ES350: How do I remove the plastic panels on the sides of the center console? I need to get at the wiring for the cigarette lighter. TIA Dave
  8. Goodness!! Twelve hours! Are you bragging or complaining? We do something like this driving our 2011 ES350 2000 miles in 2 days every 3 months, but its only because the Lexus is such a great car that we can do it, let alone feeling a little motion sickness. It's a lot of time in a car. We're supposed to feel something.
  9. Now that I think of it, the names of LEXUS dealerships who are unhelpful in this regard might be useful as well.
  10. There are literally hundreds of used smartkeys available from e-bay and other sources, and many Lexus owners report having their cars successfully reprogramed by DEALERS and LOCKSMITHS to use them. I have NOT been successful, and I'm not ready to part with $350 for a spare key. So I would like to solicit the names and cities of dealers or locksmiths who are willing and able to perform this simple task. If you have had this done, please respond. Many here will thank you. Dave
  11. I took a used keyfob to my dealer to program. He said he tried, failed, and charged me $50. Turns out the case had the right numbers on the outside, but the circuit board inside was different from my 2011 ES350. So I bought another used fob with the right circuit board inside and took it back to the dealer. Failed again but paid my $50 again. It seems this dealer doesn't know how to reset the system and only knows how to program new keys. I took it to the Toyota dealer who said "no problem." But the tech who would have done the work said he needed a code from Lexus, and since he was a Toyota dealer, he couldn't do it. Sorry. But at least he didn't charge me.
  12. did you find the cover? I got mine from dealer for about $20 Dave
  13. I have a 2011 ES350 with the same Door Trim problem. I'd like to know how to get it off without damaging the trim part or the door sheet metal. Thanks, Dave
  14. I've read horror stories and seen some youtube videos about changing sparkplugs in my 2005 es330. How hard is it really? I just finished with my brakes and timing belt. Should I attempt the Spark Plugs? Thanks, Dave
