  1. The Weather Tech Brand is the way to go. Laser cut to fit perfect into the floorpan. No slipping, and sliding. Parts guy at my Lexus dealer says he sells them 2 to 1 over all others. I bought mine from the dealer at the same price I could buy them for at the Weather Tech website.
  2. We just purchased a 2010 RX based on the Consumer reports recommendation. WE are extremely pleaded with it. I don't think you would regret it.
  3. I was just at the dealer today with the same question. The reset is under neath the dash on the drivers side. it is just aft of the under dash light that is mounted there. you will feel a little recess with a small button. The picture in the manual is deceptive. If you look close at the picture you will see that it is showing the under dash mounted light. Happy hunting.
  4. It is also sometimes a warning that a knock sensor may be going bad.
  5. I just replaced the knock sensors in my 99. The car was driving okay, but periodically the RPMS would climb. The knock sensor causes the tranny to not go into OD. THe knock sensors are located underneath the intake manifold, and cost about 160 to 180 each. You must also replace about 3 gaskets. I also had the Harness replaced because heat had made it brittle, and the ends snapped just from being touched. New harness was 35 dollars. 600 to 700 dollars to replace the above mentioned items at my independent lexus mechanic shop.
  6. Check the forum, but it sounds like the contacts in the starter. 30 dollars in new contacts vs replacing the entire starter. You will find several post relating to this issue.
  7. It may be the starter. My 99 gave me the same symptoms yours did. It was a matter of pulling the starter, and putting in new contacts inside the starter. 30 dollars is about what I spent. The starter was a little tricky getting out but if you have the right tolls, it isn't to bad.
