:) I'm looking for information from the factory manual - specifically how to remove/replace the A/T leather shift lever unit, its internal O/D button, and the O/D button wiring in the center console. Want to remove the overdrive button from the leather shifter to replace the shifter. The button has a front facing cover that seems like it should pop out, but it doesn't seem to want to come out, and I don't want to break something. Is there a clip in there that I should know about or some other secret to removing the overdrive button mechanism? Any advice is appreciated.
