I have a 92Es300, however the remote that came with it doesnt work. The remote works when i put the radio on the specific radio station. I think that my reciever is dead. I tried all the diagnostics in the fsm with no luck. What is the cheapest solution to fix the problem what about this? http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16628

Grab the factory service manual from the sticky. Inside there is a section to troubleshooting the alarm system. For example there is a radio station you can tune to which can tell you if your remote is sensing signals. I have been having trouble with my alarm also. I bough this car with one key and the remote on it works. But does not un lock the car. I tried everything in th fsm with no luck.

You don't need a a Lexus specific guide, its the same for every vehicle.

In case you cant find a replacement, when i bought my other vehicle it cost me 20$ per wheel to remove the nut locks at a tire shop.

Does it smoke on hot or cold days or both? Its normal for cars to smoke on cold days in the morning.

you don't need a press, hammer out the old studs. Place the new studs in and put the wheel back on. torque the wheel to spec and the studs will pull themselves in.

I know on my 92 es300 when i bought a new gromet i had to use pliers to jam the pvc valve in there. I couldnt do it by hand.

the 3vzfe has a mechanical maf which doesn't require cleaning. I checked it when I adjusted the afm and it was clean I forgot to mention that I replaced the PVC valve and the little gromet I checked the tire pressures 2 were at 30 and 2 were at 26. I put them all to 35. Though I doubt that would affect the economy that much the car has 146k miles and is an auto besides the normal stuff the trunk is empty the coolant temp sensor is a good idea.That could cause the ecu to be stuck in warmup enrichment mode. Hey guys i bought a 92 es300 a couple months ago. The car drives great however i am getting 13mpg in 90% city. I am babying it so it should be getting much better mpg's. These are the things i have done so far: - New Fuel filter - Spark plugs - Rotor/Cap - set timing to 17 - leaned out the afm 3 clicks - New o2 sensors - Checked the ecu there are no codes Any ideas what i should check/replace?
