  1. Cold you tell me what is OCB II codes? I really don't know about it. Many thanks for showing A serviceman plugs a computer to your car and runs a diagnostic that results in codes for any issues.
  2. You need to have the OCB II codes. Some AutoZones do it for free.
  3. P1133 and P1135 are Bank 1 Sensor 1 codes--the A/F sensor that is located between the engine and the firewall, on the exhaust pipe. Did you test the sensor that you replaced? The SFI PDF furnished earlier provides a step by step procedure for testing each of the components. If a defective sensor is located, Denso/Toyota replacement parts are recommended. Frequently, the problem is something other than the sensor so it is important to go through the troubleshooting process. Good luck!
  4. Looks like the document Jeff was trying to upload didn't show up. Maybe this will work. Bank one sensor 2 is located between the muffler and the cat converter. To test the sensor, you must remove the drivers seat to get to the wire harness connection. Good luck! SFI__SF__file.pdf
  5. A few months back, my system only blew cool air only while in the heat position. The self diagnostic indicated everything was functioning properly. Ended up being the air mix servo. Do you hear a clicking noise from behind the dash on the passenger side? Kinda sounds like the CD changer cycling between CDs. Right next to the air mix servo (above and to the left of the glove box), there is the mode servo. They are about $125+ each plus labor and if you change one you might as well plan on changing the other. Some people disassemble them and clean the contacts but it is a lot of work--may as well do it right in the first place. Good luck!
  6. Once you have tracked the issue, the attached file may help test the individual components. Good luck! A_C_System.pdf
  7. The attached Self Diagnostic routine for the A/C fan/vent system may help isolate your issue. Good luck! Here is the file in PDF format just in case you are unable to open RTF files. Good luck! A_C_System.pdf
  8. The attached Self Diagnostic routine for the A/C fan/vent system may help isolate your issue. Good luck! A_C_Self_Diagnostic.rtf
  9. The attached document explains how to test sensors. Good luck! SFI__SF__file.pdf
  10. P1130 Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Circuit Range/Performance Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) which may be causing P0171.
  11. The file is too large to post so if you PM or post your email, I will send the instructions. The file is 3.7MB so you need a fast internet connection or a lot of time to download. Good luck!
  12. Maybe the attached document will help. Good luck! This document may also help. Good Luck! Wow those docs are really great. Thanks very much Joe. You're welcome! The documents were passed on to me by another member--keep the sharing going.
  13. P0125 Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop Fuel Control P1155 Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Attached is a document that will explain how to test many of the sensors. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is on the back side of the engine, accessed from the underside of the car. If you start changing parts without the test, it could get pretty expensive. I hope this helps. Good luck! 16. I would check the owner's manual for that info. Mine were changed at 100K. Not sure of the specs. Good luck.
  17. The attached file explains how to troubleshoot some of those issues. Good luck! SFI__SF__file.pdf
  18. Hard to pin the failures down at the 125k range, they seem to be anywhere from 40k to 150k without a discernable peak in any one area of mileage. If you have some info that shows more failure happen at this mileage please post it because thats what this boad has been looking for for a long time. True! You would probably have a better idea since you have been posting on this forum for a much longer time. I yield to the master. :) I came up with the number by reading a multiple posts I have seen on this topic. I do not recall posts complaining about tranny problems at 40K miles--possible because the repairs would have been covered under Lexus warranty. Thanks for your input.
  19. At 100K the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and coils were changed. Recently, the air mix and mode servos for the AC/heat were replaced as well as the bank one sensor one A/F sensor. It's a smooth riding, good car. Sounds like yours has been really good to you.
  20. Thanks! My curiosity stems from the multitude of tranny complaints I have seen on the forum. Apparently, there has been a high number of failures around the 125K (+/-) mile range. My RX300 has recently reached that number. I have my fingers crossed. Appreciate your sharing! :)
  21. If you don't mind me asking, how did you get the tranny courtesy of Lexus? Thanks!
  22. Still looking for that IACV :), in the meantime, I changed the O2 sensor using a generic bosch sensor, and for 10 great minutes it ran perfectly. Then of course, as this problem is intermittent, it started the hesitation again. After a few more minutes it got as bad as ever. So ... PCV is next, however, this part had to be ordered and should come in a few days. For those minutes, got no codes at all, then the P0172 came back again and some MIL indicators. Check out the attached file for help troubleshooting and locating parts. Good luck! SFI__SF__file.pdf
  23. This may be one of those "duh" questions but we need to eliminate the obvious. Is the three position switch on the dome light in the correct position so that it comes on when the door opens?
  24. There is a vacuum hose on the back of the air cleaner housing that, if not connected, will give you a sensor error. Good Luck.
  25. If you PM me, I will send you the electrical diagram. Good luck!
