  1. You might start with the attached documents. Also. The cost to purchase the proper Denso sensor generally runes $125 +/-. Good luck CHK ENG Light.pdf A:F Sensors.pdf
  2. Perhaps the attached file will help. Good luck. Body Electrical (BE) file.pdf
  3. It is difficult for me to understand what your question is but I think you are saying something about the AC. Maybe this file will help: Air Conditioning (AC) file.pdf Good luck!
  4. I needed an extra key when I purchased my 2001 RX 300. I asked the Dallas Lexus dealer to cut me a key. They needed proof of ownership. I faxed them a copy of the title and boom, an extra key. I still needed to program it to the car but I do not recall wether or not the original key was required. I found the answer on this site somewhere. Hope this helps. Good luck.
  5. Check out this link... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/69892-2003-rx300-dashboard-noises-multiple/ Good luck
  6. I would probably get a second opinion. Good luck! Note: I have a 2001 RX300 that I purchased as a one owner who had been using regular gasoline. I continued using 87 octane with no problem. The plugs, coils, and timing belt were replaced at 99k miles. The car now has 135k miles and runs beautifully.
  7. BTW, if you plan to clean and reuse the servos be sure to make a note of the arm position prior to disassembly. I cleaned mine first. Worked for a while then started noise again. I guess its best to do it right the first time. It is too difficult to have to repeat.
  8. The description you provide sounds like the ticking sounds that were coming from behind the dash of my RX300 about a year ago. Search this site for "air mix servo" and "mode servo (air outlet)". There are three behind the dash (the last is the air inlet servo). The first two I mentioned are right together behind the glove box. They can be replaced without draining the coolant or AC refrigerant. Most on this site recommend replacing both since they generally get the same amount of wear. I have attached a document that will help if you plan on doing it yourself. The part numbers for the servos are: mode servo 87106-30371 parts.com air mix servo 87106-30340 parts.com Good luck! Air Conditioning (AC) file.pdf

  11. I would look at the servos behind the glove box. When they fail they will give you a clicking sound behind the dash in the area of the glove box. I have attached a file to help locate and identify these servos. Good luck! BodyMechanical (BO) file.pdf
  12. Greetings Kay, There are 2 A/F ratio sensors. one on the rear bank (B1) and one of the exact same sensor on the front bank (B2). I wish you had posted what the CEL fault code was. May I say one thing, a lot of companies make A/F sensors for the RX, but I wouldn't use ANYTHING but the original Denso sensor. They can be purchased on Amazon for about $100. Some of the other brands don't play well with T/L and MAY come back with a CEL when it's the sensor not interacting because they don't know how to make sensors as well as Denso does. This site is a very good site for OBD2 codes and the link is LEXUS specific. http://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/lexus/ Be forewarned that there is a mistake on the site though. P1155 SHOULD say (B2S1 instead of B1S1) BOTH front and rear sensors are the same sensors, both located shortly after it comes out of the exhaust manifold. The front one is VERY easy to see and the rear has to be accessed from the bottom, back by the firewall. If you had a code for an A/F ratio sensor, that code should be SPECIFIC to THAT sensor. If you are getting the SAME code, I strongly suspicion it may be the aftermarket brand sensor. Please post what the original code was. Edit: Kay, the info Joe gave you is incorrect, the front one is Bank 2, sensor 1, NOT Bank 2, sensor 2. Do a search here AND on Club Lexus, there is quite a bit on changing the sensors. Unfortunately, the rear is much more difficult to change because of where you have to release the plug on the pig tail. There ARE good instructions on how to do it without cursing a blue steak though. DO read up BEFORE you try to change it though. There are also good pictures to show you exactly what you're looking for. A male named Kay? Please tell me it isn't so! Is that a little like a boy named Sue? :) Thank you code58 for correcting my error.
  13. I assume you are talking about the Air/Fuel sensor on the radiator side of the engine. If so that is Sensor Two Bank Two. The one behind the engine before the catalytic converter is Sensor One Bank One. What are the codes? I have attached a list of ODBII codes. I have also attached a file that will help you track down and test various issues including sensors. Good luck! OCBII Codes.rtf SFI (SF) file.pdf
  14. Check the document at the following link for instructions for removing door speaker: http://www.box.net/shared/o55c5697lt#/shared/o55c5697lt/1/9328827/92954531/1 This document may also be helpful: http://www.box.net/shared/o55c5697lt#/shared/o55c5697lt/1/9328827/92954407/1 Good luck!
  15. Good job with the instructions and the pictures. Thanks!
  16. I must ask... did you change the brake pads at the same time you changed the rotors?
  17. I Believe that part number is 89467-48011. You may find thi post handy about A/F sensors on the Lexus: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-first-generation/288374-freaking-p0125-2.html
  18. I have a 2001 RX 300. The following manuals should be helpful: http://www.box.net/shared/o55c5697lt Good luck!
  19. I am not sure if this manual will help since I do not know one transaxle from another but maybe there will be some similarities. Automatic Transsxle (AX) file.pdf
