I saw that some people only have to pay $25 to get their key cut for temp if they have the parts.

I am in the Cupertino / San Jose area in California. I will look for an independent Lexus dealership. Thanks! Btw, how much did you end up paying for the key?

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation to get the key replaced by a third party because Lexus dealership charges $250 to replace the key? I have all of the parts and I have purchased the plastic part off ebay for $8 but I haven't found anyone to rekey it yet. I was wondering if anyone has any experience w/ this. I am using my backup / valet key right now. Brian

Thanks! I thought I checked the bulbs or had my wife checked the bulbs when I was at the wheel. I will check it once more with her at the wheel this time.

Hi all, A 'car icon' (next to the battery icon) has lit up amber on my dashboard (see pic) for awhile now - almost an entire yr. My car seems to be fine though so I suspect it's not anything serious. I have looked up the manual and can't find a way to turn it off so I was wonder if anyone know how to reset it? It might be one of those light that get toggle on after X number of mileage on the odometer. Not sure. Just a pain so I want to get rid of it.
