  1. that's great because before i bought my current Sony Vaio, I bought a more expensive HP Media Center. The problems popped up on me, on the 2nd day! First day, the TV tuner was working. 2nd day, TV tuner busted out so i called 1800 HP, or whatever the # was. Then they had me inspect the INSIDE of the PC (yes i opened it up and broke the 'warranty' seal). Then i decided to just return it since it was just a big problem. To add to that, the pc kept restarting every 3-5 minutes, on it's own (even if you do activity on it or not)! :chairshot: BTW, my old 98 Compaq Presario 5050 survived well. Only prob with that, can't use broadband internet (specs don't meet the minimum requirements). Anyone wanna help me ugrade it??? lol :D
  2. i heard that all the bluetooth phones work with the system, except for the Treo 650 (for now)
  3. I'm running on a Sony Vaio PCV-RS710GX
  4. I'm sacrificing some money to help. THEY REALLY NEED ALL THE HELP ANY OF US CAN GIVE!
  5. i think it's coming from the moonroof sidings on the inside. If you touch it real gently, you can feel like it would fall off! that's probably where it's coming from. ;)
  6. also i think the volume knob moves by itself when you use the stereo controls on the steering wheel (the volume knob is the kind that has a little line on the edge, meaning there is only one full rotation of the knob so it had to move with the steering wheel volume control)
  7. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! DRIVE SAFELY AND BE CAUTIOUS!!
  8. the rear exterior, well, so so <_<
  9. R.I.P. all those 100,000 dead that died from the quake, and still counting.....:cries:
  10. wait, can you post up pics. From what i read from your comment, you are trying to say that there is an UP and DOWN arrow on the "TYPE" button?? (the buttons circled with yellow) ->pic of Rx330 w/o Nav
  11. I have Bridgestones on my ES330. There is absolutely zero vibration at any speed. There has to be a tire balance or possibly an alignment problem. One thing you may want to try is take your car to another Lexus dealership and have the vibration checked out or if that's not feasible, a Toyota dealership. I'm not sure what the credibility of the large chain tire/alignment shops are in arbitration or court. ← it probably is alignment
  12. just curious, is the blutooth of the motorola v551 good (even w/o the car's bluetooth)??? I plan on getting that phone (i know this is kinda off subject) and wanna know if the bluetooth of it works great.
  13. maybe around 24k-25k would be a fair price, i think. :whistles:
  14. i always keep my eye on it when i leave it in the parking lot! (as much as possible of course!) lol
  15. or you could ADD to your OEM remote the remote starter http://www.luxurymotorworks.com/sense_o_shock_alarm.php and some extra stuff if you wish! ;)
  16. Lexus has an agreement with Toyota relative to maintenance. If your local Toyota dealer will work on your Lexus they are required to charge you Lexus labor and parts rates. I got that from both the local Lexus and Toyota dealers. ← strange, the local Toyota dealer here has two separate price boards, one for the Toyotas (of course, duh! <_< ) and one that says "for Lexus vehicles only" and they are DEFINITELY about half the price! ;)
  17. yeah, try to turn the steering wheel to any side as much as possible, then you will hear a "click", and that should do it! :D

  20. do a forum search, i remember this topic well before, but i don't remember what the guy did. He had it fixed and told us how it was done, but i don't remember what it was! :whistles:
  21. it's normal. That's how it is ever since I first cleaned that wheel well back in jan 03! There are like 4 strips of cutouts there. If you notice, the plastic splash guards are bigger on the rear left well than the right well! ;)
  22. I agree, it's way out of place! :chairshot:
  23. what i noticed is that when backing up while the suspension is lowering or raising up, the "clunk" becomes "thug, thug, thug thug thug" until you put the Gx in neutral. weird, but i tried it! lol
  24. I did the same as you in bitter below zero temps last night. I was loading an HDTV into the back, and lowered the suspension so I could possibly avoid a hernia. When I got back into the drivers seat and started driving, I had forgotten to raise it back to the normal setting, and I felt how rough tha back end rides like that. I moved the switch back to Normal rhough, and even at 7 below zero, it went into position and all was well. ← even though you left it in low, it should raise back automatically to normal at around 20mph.
