  1. whatever time it was, it should have counted 24 hrs. before letting me play again. i guess i was lucky that time! :whistles:
  2. well i know that i'm only allowed one play per day in the arcade, but seems like i was given 2 chances to play today. I played this morning and then i checked back right now, afternoon, at the arcade and it let me play another turn. how did that happen???
  3. the settings, radio, etc... is delayed when you turn on the car, or just putting the key in radio/accesory mode??
  4. oh, i didn't notice that you were in canada. my bad! well at least you guys get more accesories than here, i guess?!?!
  5. GS300?? you sure it was a loaner or they just got that from the back and let you use it to compensate for the "out of stock" of loaners???
  6. some of you were lucky..... <_<
  7. how do u do that, keep the bluetooth headset off?? ← I was not talking about Bluetooth "headsets" - only Bluetooth "handsets" - the actual phone. A few weeks ago a co-worker (let's call her SARAH! for the benefit of another co-worker who reads this forum) was showing me her new Nokia phone. I asked her if her phone had Bluetooth and she asked "What is Bluetooth?". I pulled out my Dell Bluetooth/WiFi PDA and found that her phone was "discoverable" by both paired and unpaired devices and that this was the default setting. I assume that Sarah's phone must have a setting (like my PDA) to allow her phone to be discoverable and paired only with previously paired (with a password) Bluetooth devices. Instead of changing her phone settings so her phone would be discoverable only by previously paired devices, Sarah instead complete turned off Bluetooth in the settings and said that she would never want to use it anyway. I don't know how wireless Bluetooth "headsets" pair with Bluetooth handsets - I assume the headsets pair to a phone with a password or identifying key so that a headset picks up only your own phone. ← so if the bluetooth is on, anyone with bluetooth or WiFi on their PDA can retrieve my contacts and other stuffs?? (this is interesting becuz my bluetooth is always on)
  8. makes my dealer look cheap. the only thing they give in the lobby is coffee (but all dealers, like my Honda dealer gives free coffee all day long) and most of the time, it's empty! Hopefully the new Lexus dealership they're transfering will have better service and better stuff in the lobby. visiting other Lexus dealers, my dealer looks really really cheap. other dealers give free soda, free bottled water, free snacks, etc.. heck, my Honda dealer provides doughnuts at least from 8am-10am. <_<
  9. how do u do that, keep the bluetooth headset off??
  10. who gets invited, VIPs or random customers???
  11. all engines are different. Like you said, you've tried 3 loaners in 12 months. I tried 6 loaners last year (several issues with the Gx that are now fixed, hopefully) and have noticed some to be sluggish, and some responsice. huh, i even noticed the difference in several of the steering wheel audio control buttons, in which some where very hard to press and some very soft to press. All cars are different and we just have to be happy with them. The only people who can really determine the differences in the engines are the mechanics that test drive them all the time after servicing them.
  12. oh, cuz i didn't know Lexus made optional step bars for the RX. I thought you might have gotten it from another company, but it fits perfectly!
  13. oh man! I wish I could go to those! <_<
  14. aint that the truth. my lex has a 36.1ft turning circle...we have an F150 that turns tighter than that! ← what i really meant was that maybe the area is tight (meaning that every time you park, the next car's door touches your door, etc.) and that if you've really kept your Lexus really clean (fairly clean of scratches and dents), you really don't want to start having them because you took it somewhere you didn't know the area. Take this one for example. Last year I went to Vancouver Canada from Fresno CA. Now my issue was to either rent a car, or use the GX. Well I decided to rent an SUV, which turned out to be a good idea. Parking slots at hotels and stop overs along the way were kinda questionable. Now here's what really scared me. I took the ferry boat to Victoria Island so i took the rental Montero with us. What i really didn't know about the ferry was that they were designed for small compact cars, not the big !Removed! modern SUVs. When I drove in there, everyones' doors really had to rest on the other car or otherwise it was impossible to get out of the car (especially those in SUVs). That was only one example of unexpected "bad thing (to me)" and was really happy I rented a car instead. But hey, it's up to the person's choice if they want to take their Lexus on long trips or not. All I can say is, any Lexus, any model, any age, will last all the way until you get back home!
  15. oh, you mean using the bluetooth to transfer files, documents, etc.. from the PDA to the computer (if the computer has bluetooth thing)??? I've really always wondered why PDAs, like the Tungsten and Zire 72 have bluetooth in them when they aren't phones like the Treo 650. I guess i know why now! :D
  16. i guess i was wrong. never had experience with car seats(not yet)! :whistles:
  17. welcome to LOC fastball! hear you on the cheap interior - the old IS interior was very "plasticy" and really let the car down. I actually like the rear lights though - although the altezza / IS is THE ONLY car they should be seen on :) The new IS addresses both of these issues. The tails lights have changed. And I think the interior looks great! At least a 300% improvement on the old one. I really want to see it in the steel :D ← speaking of the new IS, when i first saw pix of it, I thought it was the new GS!!! :whistles: The new IS looks WAY better than the 1st gen.
  18. To my opinion, it is always ok to use any Lexus on any long trip. Only problem, if you don't know the area (meaning you might encounter tight places or bad sides of town) and are very meticulous about dents and scratches, not a good idea(my opinion). B)
  19. when did they ever have invitations for a dinner at a dealership??? :cries:
  20. hmmm, this is interesting......
  21. well from trying several loaner 330s, the only problem i see is the dash rattle and "clunk" in one of them.
  22. where did you get the stepboards???
  23. I think the Treo 650 is the only "problematic" bluetooth phone for the bluetooth systems of Lexus. Treo 650 is worth it for those switching or thinking of trading in their Treo 600.
  24. i doubt it. maybe if you have one of them on the third seat, yeah that would work but all 3 on the 2nd row, give it a try at a Lexus dealership!
