difference. 04 has an AVAILABLE KDSS. price stayed the same. HID is DEFINITELY NOT available yet. It's only 14 speakers (it's on the 2nd to the last page of the brochure). NAV has been updated with a newer version every year. engine turned to 270 hp in 05 from the 235 in 03 & 04.

i personally think, those WeatherTech mats are not bad. Never had them ( cuz i make my own carpet liner on my cars) but from the looks of them on the magazine, no one could tell that it's aftermarket (aside from it missing the "Lexus" logo on it-if it has one) ;)

you were correct. i can't believe something simple as a door lock would break on a $50k car!! <_< ← hey everyone makes mistakes...do u have any children? they might be playing with it while u didnt notice...just a thought....but its necessary u use the button to unlock the car..this could ruin the mechanism..and if im still wrong....as i said earlier, everyone makes mistakes ← no it was not because of children playing with it. fyi, there are defective locks on some GX470s and they have the updates for it at the dealer. ← o my bad, well i do not visit the dealer often so wouldnt no...srry ← my point was that it wasn't caused by mistake. just a defective lock. besides, well i didn't mention this on my first message, but i've heard of this situation from someone else awhile back so i knew that it might be the same thing as my problem. besides, i have a van that (obviously) has an identical locking mechanism (even though it opens up) for the rear door and it never busted out. heck, most of the time that rear door gets slammed when closing.

yes that happens to me to. no need to worry its only the hill climbing assist. notice that when u take you foot of the break the car does not roll backwards. thats all it does. ← it was designed for emergency off-road conditons where u MIGHT not be able to roll down so they put this system in.

you guys are all over reacting....a little noise when u change the gear? give me a break...your going to sacrifice 60k over a thump? dont complain thats the only problem there is in the car...and its probably the off roading or susupension since the hydraulics turn on and off with the car...and it maybe something with the breaks... ← the problem is caused by the automatic leveling of the rear suspension. constantly, the suspension "adjusts" itself all the time, and at certain times it causes the "thump". now we all know this car costs alot, but we complain about it because this shouldn't happen to this kind of car, and the Lexus brand. :)

:chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: i'm now having problems with my rear door lock. at times, the lock would jam, leaving it in the lock position even after pressing the unlock button (on the remote and inside). so i figured, maybe it just got stuck a little or something, so for a few days, if i had the problem, i would just lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock, unlock from the switch and it would openm. today, i couldn't get the door open at all!! anyone else had this problem and if so, what did the dealer do to fix it (meaning, did they do a lot of dismantling of the plastics inside)??

Thanks- The local Cingular stores in my area said the MPX220 was being discontinued and they could not get ahold of one-so Im using a Motorola V551, which connects to the 05-GX470 just fine. Transfering 1 phone book entry at a time is a pain, but it seems all the cell phones Ive read about on line have this inconvience also.:whistles: ← glad you got a phone for "your GX" now! ;)

actually looking at that picture again, looks "farily" in good shape to be easily re-sold as salvage, half-price cars. I've always though of buying "salvage" titles cars (cars that are either damaged, or just stolen w/o damage) but have always considered the warranty issue. poor guy, i know a guy in town who bought a salvage GX from this friend i know, man imagine what problems he's gotta be running into right now w/o warranties!

i was lookin up new GX photos to use as my background picture in my stuff, using Yahoo search, and i ran into this! Salvage GX so that's how much those salvage repair guys buy these salvages cars. i know a guy in town that buys salvage cars, from the insurance and they sell them for half the price.

the only difference is that the 99 spoiler is flat, meaning it's almost parallel to the rear windshield, but the 00 spoiler (like the one i had on my 00 RX300) had the spoiler that looks like a cap, that sticks straight out horizontally. I recommend the 00 spoiler. Any Lexus dealer should get you an order of that! ;)

LS in the garage. here's what u should do. get a tarp that will strap down somehow to the ground and cover the civic outside. that will determine if the alarm comes from the vibration sensors or someone tryin to test the alarm. ;)

well, here's a good compensation, at least it's not a mechanical problem (like my clunk). <_<

even thouh it's highway miles, are you sure about 80k in one year?? (or is it a two year old car, bought in 03)
