ok. this has got to be the dealer's fault. when i car washed my GX lately, I noticed there was a scratch on my front left rim. Now i tried to rub it off, and it felt like a real scratch. So i took it to the dealer and showed it to them (and as i predicted ) but they said it wasn't their fault. Well mr dealer, what are the chances of me scratching up my rim, especially if the scratch is a letter "F" and "L". The "F" scratch is backwards and the "L" isn't a full L. what is going on?? they should replace it, or something!!!!!!! sorry for the horrible photo. this was taken with my cell phone. the "F'" is easy to notice, the "L" isn't.. but u get the point

i guess so. Does this apply also (the sharing of towers) even though they have their own network (was it TDMA) or something???

hey 91, those are really good car choices on ur collection!! wow. i'm jealous :P . all i have is a 1:26 RX300, 1:18 and 1:26 SC430, 1:24 BMW X5, 1:26 Toyota Prado, 1:26 Honda Pilot, 1:24 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 1:26 Acura MDX, 1:26 Cadillac XLR and (coming very soon) a 1:18 Mercedes SLR. Man, i can't wait for that SLR to come!!!! B) i'll post a pic when i get it.. ;)

I don't think there's a yes or no answer for that question. I have Verizon and hate it because I roam and drop calls on a daily basis while others swear by their service. Cingular is the best here. I guess it's all based on who has access to what towers and where they are. ← yea, that was my main question. does cricket use other company's towers (like cingular used to) or do they have their own tower?? from researching from 2 sites, it seems that it's not really widely used (for now) so i'm wondering if they've got their own tower or not.

there is a way to fix that urself. just tilt the moonroof up, the hold the tilt button, until the moonroof closes (from tilt) half way, then it's back to normal.

yea, but it's really confusing!!! one guy says that the service area is limited, u have to pay in advance (one month), voicemail and Caller ID are extra (????) ... one guy said that they are on a TDMA network and are switching to GSM sometime at the end of the year or next year. hmmm, i'll just see how the company works here with other people before i consider switching... :whistles: ;) thanks for the site!!! I know that in my area, there is no Cricket cell phone service. They are just openning up the service and stores at 12 midnight tonite. Now I've been looking at their website, but it doesn't really give that much info and pricing plans. My questions about Cricket is: 1. What network are they on??? GSM or CDMA of their own?? 2. How much is an extra line to their $45 a month plan (the one on the website) 3. Are they a good company??? drop calls??? good or bad signals??? 4. Do they share towers with other companies??? Reason why I'm asking is that if it sounds like a good deal, I'd switch to it. Thanks in advance.. Denny B)

LOL we had a taurus as a rental in Florida a few years ago. I didn't like it very much; it had cloth seats ← haha. i find that amusing. :P well the rental van we had on our long east coast trip was a Chevy Uplander LS, and it was sorta, kinda, but not really, leather seats. It 's those leather seats in rentals that have some type of cloth in the middle of them (didn't really feel like cloth, but I don't know what else to call it). I had to "live" with it for 2 weeks, 5,400 miles, and about 10-15 states it's been thru, even CANADA!!!! lol.

yay, i'm starting to see $2.39 now instead of $2.50 :D sad i get happy when the price is less than $2.50 . i remember the good old days when we actually got 79 cents a gallon, but it was only a certain time. i remember when that happened, i was pumpin gas everyday, to keep the tank full with cheap gas ;)

no clue. but they use this tire for the LX, 4runner, and the GX. They also use some other Dunlop tires for the other Lexus vehicles. ;)

well, sorry to say, there are crazy people out there. if they can get info from the plates, they would. I remember this one guy from some other forum, got mad at someone, for sharing an "illegal" story about how he got into a road race on I-5 by a Honda Odyssey and his GX. the hater started posting back "ur not suppose to be doing this stuffs. these are illegal" then starts asking weird questions like "who are you? what nationality are you?? If I find more info about you, I'd report you to the police". If the guy was serious, he would have gotten info cuz the guy with the GX always posted pix with his plates visible. so i dunno if it's really safe to post it up. for me, i try to take front pix instead of rear pix of the car, cuz i have no front plates (ooops. shhhh. :o don't tell anyone, lol. :whistles: )

i really don't know about Lexus Link. They discontinued that for the GX470s, for those built apr 03 and newer. my opinion, it'll stay the same and no new MAJOR options will be added. ;)

only solutions, to really rub it good with a big sponge soaked in soap water. that's all i do and it goes away. ;)
