  1. i can't believe this. cheapest regular unleaded is $3.10 ! this is sooooooo insane! :chairshot:
  2. what happened???? :o :o :o
  3. well when the poll was made, gas prices were $1 less a gallon. :cries:
  4. The GX doesn't have HIDs as an option. So their just stand still projector headlamps with halogen bulbs :cries: ← The GX doesn't have HID's!!!!???? :o i CAN'T believe that! you spend that much for an suv and no xenon's? Well you learn something everyday... I thought i've seen some...i remember many times where i'm driving along and see a car with xenons, and as it gets closer i see the GX...i don't know it seems odd to me ← yes, they do look like xenons at times. But they're not, unfortunately :cries:
  5. The front wheel drive transmission don't seem to be as bad. Although i have heard of them to go out early. ← well if it is, not my problem anymore!! ;) just have to watch out for the GX now.... <_< :whistles:

  7. yea i will. it just surprised me cuz previous loaner RX330s don't have it. when the car starts with the lights on, the lights only move up and down. this one, it moved to an angle, then down an angle, then up. just crazy!!!! ;) ← Yeah they're very cool! I wish the rx300 had AFS ← hey i just came back from my joyride. seems like the turning of the lights is more pronounced when turning left. when turning right, not really. at first, it only turned if it was a fast left turn. eventually it turned left, even when i was driving slowly (turning left) into my garage... :)
  8. yea i will. it just surprised me cuz previous loaner RX330s don't have it. when the car starts with the lights on, the lights only move up and down. this one, it moved to an angle, then down an angle, then up. just crazy!!!! ;)
  9. i only placed 33,289 miles on my 2000 RX300 before i got rid of it. but it was a FWD though, not an AWD
  10. NO!! this is sooo cool. whenever you're in D, and you turn the steering wheel the lights turn with you to light up the road better left and right. Have it in my rx330 and LS430 and it's the best! That's what they call AFS. i love it If you find the button on the side that says "AFS OFF" you can tell the difference. It seems to work better on the LS though. ← what do u mean No??? if u meant that it's not a new feature, well that wasn't what i was asking. i was asking if the loaner RX330s (they usually have a certain vehicle with certain options) have changed, in a way, that they added the AFS feature. yea i saw the switch on the side. i tried (in the garage) to turn the steering wheel while the car's in D but it won't turn. i guess the car needs to move so it'll work?? i'm just waiting for sundown to see it cuz the GX doesn't have this option. so i'm like a little kid saying "I wanna see. Let me see". lol ;)
  11. actually this is going off topic a bit, but talking about loaners, the loaner RX i have right now seems different. It was built 10/04 in japan. The thing that was different was 1. Passenger airbag info has a white box around it now. 2. (not sure with this one) the door lock button has a "Lock" with an arrow to the direction to push it to lock the doors. last but not least, 3. have they changed the options on these loaners?? seems like the adaptive headlights not only move up and down, but also to the sides?? so i'm guessin this is the feature that the headlights turn when the turn signals r on? haven't driven it at nite but i'm thinking of driving it 2nite to find out. ;)
  12. oh so u were the one who talked about the dealer who smoked in ur RX. :o i remember that thread. :)
  13. They don't make you return it with a full tank!!?? Every time i go for a loaner the SAME guy is always there... "RX or ES" "No smoking in the ve-Hickle" "Return with a full tank of gas" I swear it's only Inskip Lexus...LOL ← well. actually i've heard that some dealers CHARGE the customer for using the loaner. Then i heard some dealers give NON-LEXUS loaners. so ur dealer's policy isn't as bad as u think! ;)
  14. heck, i don't have to worry bout gas for a day or two (which really helps). Gx is in the shop, so I'm using the loaner fuel. Dealer doesn't require me to fill it up b4 i return it so it's good except for the part that they give it to me with only 3/4 of the tank full. <_<
  15. r u 4 real?? cuz i'm really tired of geting that clunk fixed. The Gx is in the shop right now cuz the passenger door lock won't open, so the door's jammed. I also had the brakes done and had the warped rotors replaced, or whatever they do with it. I'll think about it. Besides, i doubt my dealer would know about this fix cuz this dealer's not that great in servicing.
  16. now it's like $2.65 for unleaded, CHEAPEST ONE IN TOWN :cries:
  17. wow, take it ez u guys. :o
  18. i really dont know if someone posted up something about this, but has anyone had door lock problems, as in, one of the doors won't lock by the remote, switch, ot backup locking??? it happened to me at Home Depot. I was locking the car and the "chirp" didn't sound. I said that was strange. Then listening to it lock, it "clicks" twice, so i thought that was weird too. when i get back to the car, i played around with it again, and noticed, after locking the GX, the right passenger door was still unlocked. so now the problem is from the right passenger door. anyone else had this problem??? now it's official, the door lock jammed PERMANENTLY
  19. i'm guessin ur also interested on other neat features of the GX???
  20. ooooo. ur making me jealous :o i'll see if i can go to the one in Alameda. I know i missed one back like 2 years ago. <_<
  21. Yupp...that $$$ will help us a LOT. Any BOOYYY do we need it now. LOL I thought it was all over ← But...i lost a TON on the GS and especially the ES!!! I lost $11,000 in 5 months on the ES... ← wow. that's quite a bit. too bad cars don't have any equity like houses.
  22. well, that's a little too extreme. anything can happen (like a bomb fall on a house that's in the middle of a cluster of houses) but since there's the feng shui going on in the family when buying a house, we happened to run into this one particular "slight" or "maybe not" feng shui problem. ;) made an offer already. they'd better go for it. it's been on the market for 119 days now. besides, it's "Help -U- Sell" so the owner really got whacked tryin to sell his home for the first few months with their $3950 deal of the company providing some stuff, and it's all up 2 u
  23. actually this house has been on the market for 118 days. what happened was that it had been waaaay over priced when they first listed it. so now i have basis for a big discount, which is what i typed (or my dad did) on the offer. B)
  24. oh, ok. thanx. yea everything except the feng shui fits my criteria. i already consulted this with a previous client of mine that believes in almost every feng shui there is available! :o geez. so she says it's ok, then i say it's ok! ;)
  25. sell the ES. put the incoming baby in the RX330! ;)
