well i got a 05 ES330 loaner, and all i have to say is, WOW. :o This thing is quick and nimble, and i know how much fun it must be driving this thing everyday (right SW)?? lol :whistles: It had nice features that my GX didnt have. I liked having memory settings for the PASSENGER side too (GX doesnt have that), and the seat cooler (felt good on a hot summer day). It was fun to drive around town. I've never really driven a "car" size car before, because most of the time my family either has a van or an SUV. So it took a little getting used to when it comes to entering and exiting (probably some bruises on my head) the car, but it was nice and roomy. Although the headroom, IMHO was terrible (well for people that are 6' and taller i guess) so i had to recline the chair a little to avoid my head always hitting the ceiling. ;) Too bad i didnt have a shot at the 350. This was the last loaner they had so i had to take it vs an Enterprise vehicle. I wanted to get SW more jealous after i type reviews on how the ES350 feels and drives but I guess some other time. LOL ;) But do the side window defroster vents easily come off? This ES did.

oral surgery, right? My dad's got his wisom teeth pulled a couple years ago. He said he didn't feel a thing but obviously you have to have anesthesia injection, which is the only pain you would feel. Otherwise, it's going to be ok. The dentist or doctor, or both, that my dad went to, is an MD also. I heard that there's only like 3 of them here in fresno that is like him. There's gotta be a ton of them in San Francisco. Relax, don't worry. After that, you get to eat (or drink i should say) a nice milkshake. ;)

It doesnt have a warning indicator. Here's the thing. 1. If you put it in auto, obviously it'll go off. 2. If you manually turn it on and off, it can either turn off after 30 seconds after locking the car, or (if done a certain way) after removing the key and openning the door, it should turn off. Not sure how or when which one will happen if you go with option number 2, but guaranteed that if you manually turn on ur lights and forget to turn them off, they should go off after 30 secs or maybe a minute the most. ;)

Been awhile since I've taken a good shot of my GX ever since the 4R came in. IMO, looks like it would pass to be showroom condition. :P Although I've noticed (no picture of this one) that one of my rims has dirt that doesn't easily come off. Is there a special spray or something that would take it off? I always use soap and sponge on the rims, but this one particular rim doesn't want the dirt to come off.

If your 4Runner has the V8, it should get the same fuel mileage as the GX. it's a V6 ;)

Check to see if the seatbelt assembly is LCOKED into position. If that doesn't work, try pushing on the assembly and see if there's any loose plastics. ;) Update us on what happens

Rims don't look too bad. I thought (judging by the picture) that they're not even 20" . Seems like a lot of meat on the tire. ;)

I was wondering what Lexus he was driving. Heard from the news that he was speeding in his Lexus but they didn't say what kind of Lexus. I thought it would have been an SC430 but an LS430 is waaaay better! :)

no matter what, Lexus has a high resale value. I checked the KBB of my GX and if i were to sell it TODAY, it's still costs $41k . That's a 3 yr old GX, w/no options and 45k miles. I understand the gas issue. that 3 or 4 mpg more is a BIG DEAL. That's why I got a 4Runner a month ago because it performs similarly like a GX, but with a better gas mileage. Size is sacrificed but if I need a roomy vehicle, I'd use my GX. ;) You can get GX470s at nearly invoice nowadays because the 07s are rolling in and the design will be used for at least another year and a half.

True, but it took them 3 years to get a permanent fix. So far, i think this is like their 5th or 6th attempt, and I've been thru all of them. Hopefully and so far, no one has complained about this new TSB. Good luck on your service :)

my dealer must be crap compared to your guy's dealers. The RX330s/350s we have don't have Navi!

Get One!!! I saw brand new ES350 loaners at my dealership..... Wish I could have gotten one as a loaner but just got a RX330 instead. :( :P There's a lot of new ES350s around my area. Well then again, my town's a "luxury car" town, where you do see either a Lexus, BMW, or Benz in every neighborhood.

It's inside, behind the glove box. Refer to your owner's manual on how to remove it. ;)

how do you guys get 400Hs for loaners? My dealer doesn't offer a 400H for a lonaer. heck, i had a loaner the other day, and it was still an RX330! :o It was the same loaner i had like 8 months ago when it was brand new w/o plates yet.

Might not be advisable to do that. There must be a good reason why Lexus designed it that way. ;)
