Ok folks. After months of searching, comparing, picking brains, and second guessing my wife and I have finally purchased our CPO GS350. The car was delivered last Wednesday and it is a beautiful car (white/ black). I think that we got a decent deal on the car and shipping. I have another question. The car did not come with a rear sunshade and I actually like that option. Has anyone had one installed after the fact and what was the cost for installation?

Are you looking for a new GS? Or even a new "left over" 08? McGrath Lexus of Chicago was running an add for an $11,000 dollar reduction on GS's a few weeks ago! They may run it again or even sweeten the pot. Just a thought.

OK club members. Why do Lexus dealers think that they are going to get INVOICE pricing on a CPO? What I am refering to is CPO 07 and 08's GS's. Some dealers are pricing CPOs higher than brand new GS's!! WOW. They even try to LIE to new buyers about what a wholesaler would pay!!! Thank goodness I have access to MMR's! Well I apologize for the frustration. I enjoy the forums and have been searching for a CPO GS430 or GS350 since March. I appreciate the feedback whenever I have questions.

Ok I would appreciate some feedback, if possible, on paint reliability. Does anyone have any information about which paint holds up the best in the long term? The two that I am trying to decide between are Silver or Black. I live in the Southwest so snow really is not a factor. We do not have harsh winters so salts, solvents, etc. are not on the roadway. We also do not get a tremendous amount of rain. The only thing that we do get plenty of is sunshine and wind! The vehicle will be garage kept.

Oh I'm sorry. The mileage I am looking for on either of these vehicles is about 15,000-22,000. Primary color that we are look for is kind of rare-white/ black. Our secondary choice is I think Silver/ Black. My wife and I are on the fence with our second choice. We usually keep our vehicles for a minimum of 10 years. We are not sure which color would hold up the best, even though the vehicle would be garage kept (between black or silver).

I'm thinking that you are in the neighborhood for an 06 GS300. After doing all of my research I found that a clean loan value on a 07 should be around $27k. That's with just under 20,000 miles. Other Lexus owners have told me that if I couldn't find an 07 GS350 to look for a 06 GS430. Close to the same performance! I would imagine the leather and amenities are about the same across the board.

I am looking for a 07-08 GS350. I bid on a 2008 GS350 a week ago and I must have been really low since the dealer never responded to my offer! I have read the different forum responses on how good or bad a deal may have been. Does anyone think that I can purchase a 08 GS350 w/o navigation for $32-33k? How about an 07 GS350 for $28ish? Sorry folks looking for CPO with about 15,000-22,000 miles. Color preference is white/ black. second choice is silver/black. Any response or input would be awesome.
