  1. Problem Solved. A bad headlamp was causing the actual problem. After trying almost everything I removed and replaced the headlamps and now everything is back to normal. For those who replied I thank you.
  2. I just went for another ride after letting the car rest and the lights do not light up anymore when I hit the gas. But the headlights do not work at all and the lamps on the dash are very very bright and the reading lights when turned on are also very very bright.
  3. I just incurred a strange problem in my 92LS. When the lights are on the headlights do not work. The rear lights work and the side lights work. When in drive and I press the gas 3 additional lights come on the oil pressure, BRAKE, and radiator. I also observed when I press the Hi Beams only the left side light works. I am not sure if it is a bad headlight or bulb, a short, a ripped wire, a fuse or a relay. I do not know where to look first. Can anyone shed some light on this issue.
  4. Ever since I bought my 92' LS400 there has been a rattling noise that seems to be coming from the passenger side door area. Aside from this my car is perfect. I have enjoyed it for 2 years already and would love to fix this issue. I am not sure the exact origin of the noise and for the life of me I cannot figure it out. It does not make noise then the car is standing. It only rattles when the car is moving. I am thinking that something may be loose and the wind causes it to vibrate. I have tried to figure it out with no success. Can anyone help me??
  5. This makes sense. It started when I went to the trunk and returned a tool to the toolbox on the left side of the trunk. I will check it out. Thanks.
  6. I have a 1992 LS400 which has been problem free for the 2 years I own it. Today a strange thing is happening. When I press the Brake pedal the R comes up on the dash. As in PRNDL indicating Reverse. It also results in a bang when going into Drive gear while pressing the Brake. When I shift to Nuetral and release the brake and then enter Drive it is fine and there is no bang. When I shift into Reverse the reverse lamps do not go on. I am not sure what the problem is. It could be the tranny, a fuse, a relay? I am not sure. Does anyone have a clue??
