Would you advise against purchasing any of the cd's being sold on E-bay? Not a good investment?

I am trying to find quality, paintable body side moldings for my 1995 SC400 and am having great difficulty. I'm looking for the ones that come in 7' or 8' lengths (2 pieces) with formed ends, 1 3/8" wide or so with a rounded profile. As any body molding will detract from the appearance of the vehicle, I'm hoping to find something that is subtle in appearance, yet functional ... as door dings suck! Is someone aware of such a product? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
