I have a 2006 LS430 & the voice recognition is definitely the weakest feature. It is quite inaccurate and responds to even the most basic commands with totally ridiculous responses. I test drove a 2008 RX350 (which has the newer version for Nav) & was quite impresses with how well it worked. Completely different in comparison to my LS. I wonder if upgrading to the newer Nav version will improve the functionality of the voice command - probably not. Has anyone tried upgrading their LS with the newer Nav version?
