Dude, Lexus/Toyota have no on/off switch for the DRL lights! That's for the safety!(except Cambodia. lol) The only option you have - take out the bulb! (but remember, if you doing that, you also not gonna have a high-beam, because it's same light bulb). Good luck

Yes, I have a same problem on my Lexus. It was the same thing. You turn on the lights and some times left or right headlight is off. You reset the switch and lights working again.A month later I found out my left head light is never turn on, I checked and that appears - my bulb is explode inside. It's not a electrical problem, it's a light bulb! I replace 2 bulbs and have no problem ever since. You need: D4S PHILIPS HID Bulb XenEco 42402. Hello! I have 2006 GS300(awd) for almost 2 year now,and always use Mobil-1 Synthetic oil(15000 Extended Performance) on this car. No problem! Have no idea why you can't use this kind of oil on your car. May be your dealership want for you to come back and put Genuine Toyota oil?

it may by something simple. Have a VSC light on, right after I replace my spark plugs. Went to Autozone, they check my codes and tell me what part i need to replace(even show me the picture). A went back to the car and find out that was just a loose wire on one of the sensor.Fix the problem instantly!

Hey guys! I just wonder how i can test my alarm on gs 300 to see if it works? When alarm will go off? I have a friend and somebody broke his window, open door and try to still his stereo (Infinity with GPS) and his alarm newer go off! I try to open door with regular key and nothing happens, no alarm! (i don`t use smart key, just just metal key from it.) That`s mean anyone can open a car with limmy?

Nor does mine. I have 57,000mi on my clock. However, depending on who you talk to, some "experts" will say that this is an acceptable consupmtion of oil. Have you looked to see if there are any oil leaks or weeps? Do you have any hint of blue smoke especially upon start up? The oil has to be going somewhere. steviej I don`t know, just check my oil level and is the same thing. 2 month ago i add about 1/2 quart to make sure the level between the two dots and now is below bottom dot. I have no blue smoke in a mourning and engine is free of any leaks. May be it`s normal? Newer have oil check light. I will keep my eye on level now. How much exactly quarts should be in the you know? The oil I use Mobil 1.

Lexus GS 300 AWD 70000 miles. No major issues. 1).Side mirrors sometimes don`t get back to same position after reverse. 2).Notice that sometimes, when turning on ramp to freeway my AFS light start blinking. But soon when i restart engine it goes off. That`s all. Own for one year and seem`s like is pretty reliable car. GO LEXUS!

:o WARNING!!!!!!! I purchase GROM-USB2 for my 2006 GS300 and it does not work! Grom Audio send me USB unit and 4GB USB memory card. First, when i install the unit - USB work just fine, but next day it was completely DEAD! I replace 4GB usb to my own 1GB and it was good for one day. Next morning it was all the same, I can`t make audio turn on. They send me a replacement unit and new 4GB USB card (they sad Memory Card was bad and nothing wrong with USB Unit itself. I ask for BRAND NEW unit). Install new one and guess what?! Same thing! USB audio from memory card work for a couple hours and then died. It`s turn on and off by it self. The USB unit also have AUX and IPod in, but i never try it if it`s work or not. Going to send it back and get my money. Good concept but bad experience. Maybe it`s my luck? Anybody have a same problem with it? It`s any alternative USB Units for Lexus on market? Thank you for reply!

Any idea of the cost. I just purchased a 2006 GS300 AWD with 31k. Bought extended warranty 5yr/60,000 miles for $1780. Has 75 copay if taken to Lexus dealer. Covers everything except wear items. That`s kind of cheap! I got 2006 GS300 AWd with 70000 miles on it and Lexus of Bellevue (WA) offer me a extended warranty on my car for 2years/30000/3700$ :o That`s a RIPOFF! So far no problems! But I own car, no lease.

Maybe you right about! Anyway, my point is- why autostores and internet companies sell you a parts which does not belong to the car??? At least Ebay seller send me irridium plugs. Shucks(O`relly) sell me a regular plugs (not even platinum). It`s like if i go to the store and ask for headache medicine and they give you a medicine from diarea!

A have 66000 miles on it. The manual book said spark plugs need to be replace at 65000. They more expensive than regular plugs but last longer. Regular plugs should be replase every 30000 miles. I don`t know about ES, on GS300 is preety easy. You have to unscrew a couple bolts and nuts on the right side to get to them, and remove intake air assembly on the left side. I did it with in 20-25 min.( never done it before on Lexus). Toyota/Lexus is a good car to work on, not to complicated. Did you open Chryser PTCruser hood? That`s complicated! :( Good luck! Easy procedure can save you money fo beer for intire month! :D

Hello! I just replace spark plugs on my 2006 GS300. That was a real challenge! First, I went to autostore and bought spark plugs. But when I remove old pugs, they was longer than the new ones. Return plugs and got new one from Ebay ( DENSO iridium IK16) it was in the OEM list for 2006 GS300. When I got them they was shorter to! I call DENSO Corporation to get some answers, and they told me to not install IK16, because thay burn hotter and shorter. I have to get original OEM (DENSO FK20HBR11 iridium) only(!) from dealer, no one else have it for sale. Ok,call to 3 dealers (Seattle area), all have a different price from 18$ to 27$ for one. Took car apart again (3rd time) and find out one of them was different :( Went back to get the right one! Anyway, from my experience, you can`t substitute DENSO FK20HBR11 or NGK ILFR6D11T for nothing else. Toyota have a similar plug FK20HR11, but does not have "B" (triple electrode). Don`t make my mistakes! ;)

Hello. I have a same problems just about 2 weeks ago. I was replacing a spark plugs and when job was done VSC ligh came on. Went to local AUTOZONE store to check the trouble code (free), they told me it was a idle sensor.b So, I check the car again and find loose wire on sensor. Simple fix! Check your wires and I hope it helps! :)
