We just bought a pre-owned 09 RX350 with ~ 10K miles, and it already had its 10K service performed. In going over the maint. schedule, the next one is @ 15K or 12 months....and it seems the oil&lube is @ a schedule of every 5000 miles or every 6 months, which every occurs first... Question All my previous non-lexus cars, generally japan origin the oil & lube maintenace was every 3000 mile or every 3 months which ever occurs first.... Why can the Lexus forgo the above typical schedule and do it only every 5000 miles. what is different about the Lexus that allows this to happen...? thx in advance magellan

I was told that if your VIN has the letter "H" in fourth place, it is an AWD. Perfect...mucho gracias

Hi all, We just bought a pre-owned 09 RX350. Since we don't have the original window "auto" listing" , how can one tell if the RX350 is equipped as AWD vs FWD...I looked at the door plate, and cannot find any particulars... any advise...? thx in advance
