  1. I may be wrong, but I think the trip computer shows both. If you scan through functions, one shows the total average mpg, and another shows average mpg since last fill up.
  2. Hi guys Its my third week driving RX. Still adjusting to the ride, smaller inside that my previous 05 MDX, but mostly struggling to find a comfortable position for the driver's seat (I'm 6'3"). Otherwise, love the Sapphire. Last weekend, I took RX for a first car wash and I have a somewhat dumb question. I have a push start. Should I leave the key inside, or take it with me? I'm within 5-10 feet from the truck as it goes through the car wash. I once stepped out with a key in my pocket and engine idling, and RX started beeping and I think I saw a warning message on the console, but will the engine actually shut down if I move outside the sensor range? I have no problem leaving the key inside, but I may forget to do this next time, and I don't want the engine to shut off when going through a car wash.
  3. Nice! That's the color of my RX. Bling aside, the front/rear looks awesome.
  4. Hi fellas, My first post as new member. Yesterday we signed the deal on 2010 RX 350 AWD with Navi. Black Sapphire Pearl with Black Interior. The truck is supposed to be at the dealer by the middle of next week, but I will most likely not pick it up until the end of April, when my current lease on Acura MDX matures. I was pitting MDX against RX ever since it came out in late 2000. I have been driving MDX ever since. First, 2001 for 4 years. Then, 2005. Both times, after looking at others, the choices were MDX or RX, and MDX always won, in terms of utility, looks, and driving impressions. RX was always lacking IMO in a spirited driving department. This time, I put RX on my test-drive list at the last minute (looked at Q5, ML, and of course MDX). Q5 is small, but nice, but german engineerng is abit wierd. I guess, after driving japanese-made cars for 12 years, I've come to expect things in certain places, or work in certain way. Plus, reliability on a first year model is a big concern. ML was a huge disappointment. Stupid column shifter. Outdated COMAND. Handling is only average. Costliest, beyond the reason. MDX was everything I come to expect from Acura, but did not have that wow factor I got after I drove the new RX. I can't say I love everything about the new RX, but I felt its the best combination and presents the smartest choice amongst its current competitors. Of course, I need to drive it through a couple of years, with all the daily commuting, and weekend gateways, visits for service, dealing with dents and dings, etc. before making any final judgements. Oh, regarding the girlie RX comment. I totally agree. 1998 through 2009 had that impression on me. I felt different about 2010: wider stance, less rounded shapes (alas abit awkward or unfinished - take your pick), much-much-much sportier handling and road feel. The best one for me is finally a normal console, instead of minivanish armrests. Still, I am not completely warmed up towards the dash mounted steering column. Especially, for sport shift mode. I found 2009 MDX's shifter much more friendlier. At the end, my wife's comments round it up: she said once she set at the wheel that whomever designed the interior certainly had women in mind as all the controls, cup holders, and that hidden compartment below the console perfect for a purse (GRRR...) are exactly where she would expect them in her mind. She said she did not feel the same in our current MDX. Amazing. As long as I still get to drive it 70% of the time. Can't wait!
