  1. Not sure what's going on -- and am missing my satellite radio! My husband bought me a satellite radio for XMas. Installation was quite complicated. So -- we had it installed at the dealer (the day after XMas!!!). :-) Went on a trip -- went to leave -- and my radio screen says "Antenna" -- no signal, nothing. It just keeps flashing 'Antenna" any time I try SAT1, SAT2, SAT3. Ugh -- don't want to feel stupid -- but am not sure if: * something is wrong with XM account itself (wouldn't think so -- my husband has an XM radio in his car as well, and it's linked to the same account) -- * a button was pushed incorrectly * a wire is loose. Anybody seen this before? Thanks for your help!
  2. Sorry about that previous post. OOPS! Yes, my 2005 ES330 is the same. Can't charge the cell phone without the car running. My phone always beeps at me (telling me it is no longer charging) when I stop the car.....
  3. gbhrps and homemechanic -- THANK YOU SO MUCH for the posts. This is a LEXUS Dealer. Really really frustrated by this. Burn me once -- they will not have the chance to burn me twice. I'm going to call the Service Manager on Monday AM and tell him what the rep recommended and ask him why. I am REALLY hopeful I will receive a reply such as, "THE TECH SAID WHAT!??!?!" If not -- tack another 5 minutes onto my drive, and I can be at another Lexus Dealership. THANK YOU AGAIN!!!
  4. I bought my 2005 ES330 in May 2008. I LOVE THAT CAR!!! It is in for service today (scheduled 5K maintenance) -- sitting at 45K miles. The maintenance rep called and recommended a Brake and Power Steering FLUSH. Said it should get done every 10-15K miles. That doesn't sound right to me. If it needed to get done that often -- wouldn't it be in the regular maintenance schedule plan? Also read on another forum that you should leave it alone unless you are having problems -- that doing it too often isn't good. BUT -- not sure. I want this car to last a long time -- it's a GREAT CAR. I'll get whatever needs to be done WHENEVER it needs to be done, but don't want to be stupid. The cost was just under $400 for both flushes. Just doesn't make sense. My Mom and Dad have a 2005 Avalon. He's never replaced his in 100K miles. His car is humming like it's brand new. He has kept up with regular 5K maintenance religiously. Any advice? Thanks!
