Thanx man.. The reason I asked was that I am putting a Supra 6sp manual tranny with the VVT-i 2JZ-GTE engine into my JDM Altezza but I have a damaged ECU and was wondering if the non VVT-i ECU would run the car for now until I buy a standalone management system.. So I wanted to compare the ECU pinouts of the VVT-i and the non VVT-i versions.. I came in the GS300 section because they come 2JZ-GTE VVT-i in some models.. Thanx..

I would like a diagram for the JDM Aristo 2JZ-GTE VVT-i manual transmission Pinout or ANY info as to where I can download one... Also a Supra ECU pinout diagram would be greatly apreciated. If anyone knows any site to check pls let me know...

Are you specifically referring to the VVT not working or the entire engine not working?? All I need is for the engine to run smoothly and drive..

Hey ppl I am new here and I am seeking some info ASAP.. I have a JDM Altezza with the BEAMS Dual VVT-i 3S-GE 5sp Tiptronic engine (similar to the US IS300) and I bought an Aristo Vertex edition engine (US GS300).. The engine is the VVT-i version of the 2JZ-GTE engine but it has no ECU.. The only available ECU I can get now is the non -VVT-i Supra ECU.. I don't have all the $$ right now for a standalone Autronic or Apexi Power FC ECU.. So my question is would this non VVT-i ECU from the Supra run the VVT-i 2JZ-GTE?? I don't mind it the VVT does not work for the while until I buy a standalone management system or if it has to be wired up some other way to work etc.. All I need is for the engine to run smoothly and reliably.. Any sure sugestions? Or details on this procedure? Thanx in advance
