i been searching the forum for a couple of days now and still havent found anything helpful yet, where is the faqs so i can look there

Ok im trying to install a aftermarket deck(eclispe 3414) into my sc300 but am finding it really difficult to locate a dash kit for it. Ive heard of the metra ones but went to a local audio dealer and they told me it wouldnt work. I searched a few post here and saw some people had some luck with a toyota harness and kit, is this true? and which model would I need? have any of you installed a aftermarket deck? is so how did you guys go about doing so? please any information would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

ok i got my sc300 and am contemplating either replacing the free air sub or getting a nice enclosure with some 12's. I wanna ask you guys your thoughts, i really dont need the trunk space but i was thinking it probally would cost me more to get enclosure since I would have to dampen the trunk and all, what do you guys think is the best way to go? for you guys that have replaced the free air sub hows the sound quality? for those of you with enclosures do the sc's rattle lots? any info you guys would be able to provide would be greatly appreciated, thanks in andvance

Hey guys i just got my lexus yesterday and its pretty clean, its a 1996 sc300 with about 128k on it. only thing wrong with it is the leather cover over the e-brake is all craked and torn and was wondering where i could get a new or nicer looking one. Thanks in advance, ill post up pics as I mod this baby right now its stock but coming soon are some rims and upgraded stereo and look forward to hearing your guy's advice on my plans as they come.
