Yep, lots of us have seen the black climate control display. The display needs to be replaced at the very least, and it may be that there are other issues with the climate control as well. Buying a new one is out of the question as dealer is the only way to get one and dealers will quote more than $1100.00 US, last I heard. You can look for used ones on eBay but caution, they are not 100% compatible across all model years. Best bet is having yours rebuit.
