Started with a detail job.
Got in car after detail, drivers arm rest was wet to the touch. Have not been back to the car wash because of what I might do.
Next day noticed window buttons that control other windows did not work. Decided to check out fuses I thought would yield a solution, no luck. At this point all displays on the navigation screen were working.
Looked at the panels next to front seats and then opened the hood for the circuits under the hood no fuses blown. Then tried to see if I could reset and remove the cable from the battery and reconnected,the alarm went off and from that point on I have no heat or ac display working on the nav screen. Cannot reconnect the horns, the alarm always goes off, main window button controls do no work, and a variety of odd items such no trunk release no side view mirror control no seat control. but have gps, all navigation, items have radio, have windows working at each door only for each window.
Do I need to replace the navigation screen or is there an easier solution. The car is 1999 with 150k was running great, engine and all its functions still work, but with out any displays.
