  1. Can any of you suggest a website that carries Lexus-branded floor mats to purchase without going through dealer pricing? My otherwise almost-pristine 400 is in need of a new set of front lats. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks you.
  2. The procedure for replacing the taillight bulbs in the fender light assemblies in the 98-00 LS is very different than for the 90-94 LS -- your instructions are not going to help the original poster. A 98-00 LS fender mounted taillight assembly can be removed in about 30 seconds without removing any of the inside trunk trim like has to be done on the 90-94 LS400. It is much easier on a 98-00 LS than on a 90-94 LS -- I just went out to the garage and popped a taillight assembly off my 00 LS and had it reinstalled in about one minute.
  3. thank you. Appreciated the information.
  4. Dash warning message showed brake light out. Visual outside inspection shows top right hand light bulb dead. Would appreciate guidance and advice on: what type bulb needed, how to get at assembly from trunk and what installation steps are needed. Thank you for your assistance.
  5. I have a 1i998 LS 400 with 45,000 miles on it. When should I change the timing belt, the number of years the belt has been in operation (11) or the total mileage? Thanks for the advice.
  6. Have a low mileage (30,000) l998 LS 400 that is in need of new tires when the Michelin snow tires are removed early next month. I'd appreciate hearing from drivers in the NE about recommendations for Spring, Summer and Fall radials. Thanks.
