Mine was recalled and I don't have the towing package either.

My moonroof just started creaking last week. The car will be one year old next week. Taking it in. The dash has been insulated and reinstalled last spring and it still creaks. Have had creaks by the passenger door and around the steering wheel. Wish I never bought this car - all I do is listen for new squeaks and creaks.

Has anyone had problems with creaks from their dashboard (especially in the morning)? I've had the car in twice for a creaking noise on the right side of the dash. The first time they insulated under the bonnet. The second time they took the whole dash out. Two days later, the problem is worse. Don't know what to do next.

What color is yours? Mine is black and is discolored from wiping above the glove box.

I wiped my black dash with a wet towel and it caused a discoloration above the glove compartment. Lexus dealer told me that it could be recolored but Lexus wouldn't replace. I symnpathize. I'm afraid to touch the thing now.
