Snap on says their 18.4 scanning software no longer damages the Occupant Module in Lexus cars. However, my 2008 GS 350 after a local guy cleared all check lights with his Snap on running 18.4 started having the SRS light come on and giving codes 1650 and 1797...Has anyone had this problem?

I know I will need an oil filter cartridge - will I also need a couple of rubber seals? Anything else that should be changed when an oil change is done? (Why did Lexus and other car makers return to the old system of replacing the internal element of the oil filter instead of just using a self-contained canister type unit that most cars use?)
