  1. My driver's side front is the rim that's slightly bent, the 2 that are bubbling are not. Completely unrelated. I'll take some pics after work & post 'em. Wonder what's causing this
  2. I noticed some bubbling on both the passenger side front & rear rims. Anyone else have this problem? My old Toyota mechanic told me to claim warranty on them & have them replaced. Wonder why it's even happening.. I think i'll take some pictures & post 'em up
  3. Turns out it was my phone, stupid Moto. G*d forgive me for ever blaming Lexus :)
  4. So I guess if I were to install a mono amp & subwoofer I should tap into the line that's going to this sub & disable the stock sub?
  5. Must be my phone, it says "bluetooth temporarily turned off" when I attempt to pair. Which Blackberry do you have, going to be upgrading my phone this summer, want to make sure I get something that sync's nicely
  6. Okay so there are 2 subs behind each rear head rest? I'm gonna take a closer listen when I got off work today. Maybe it's just the positioning of the subs that makes me not even notice they are there
  7. Lately my phone hasn't been automatically sync'ing upon starting the car. I keep on having to manually connect the bluetooth capability. Not sure if the problem is with my phone settings or the car settings, how to determine?
  8. Choppy? Sounds like uneven tire wear. Suppose to rotate the times every 16000km on the AWD model. But it's definately not that for me, I know it's the rim
  9. Went in this morning and complained about the excessive black brake dust, no problems getting them to cover it under warranty. Decided to delay them actually changing them a few weeks - Has anyone noticed an obvious difference in braking performance after having them changed? With the pads that are on right now I find the braking superior to any vehicle I have ever driven.
  10. The only bass I hear is coming from the door speakers, if there actually is a stock sub in the back trunk in the non-ML system maybe mine's dead? Where can I find the sub exactly in the trunk?
  11. You mean there is actually a sub in the back of the IS250? Man, it must be pathetic because I am so not pleased with the low end in this car. Where exactly can I find the sub?
  12. Are bent rims repairable or would I have to buy a new one? Since I hit that massive pothole back in Dec. I am still feeling the vibration from the driver's side front rim
  13. Heard you can slice/make new tracks on a CD in Nero, just haven't figured it out yet. The seek feature is so slow
  14. Is there a quicker way to skip to the middle of a song? I got a mix CD with no track breaks, trying to get 2/3rds of the way into the disc literally takes 5-10 min. Alternative method?
  15. Great to know, that black dust is a b*tch. Gonna get my front pads replaced, but I noticed it says not to expect the same performance. Think I should stick w/my current pads? Wonder how much life is left in 'em...
  16. Nail in the tire is definately not covered by Lexus or any dealer. I had my tire repaired just a few weeks back, $25. Now I wish I could just get my bent rim repaired , da*n vibration
  17. I don't have Sirius in my Lexus, however I have a cuz w/XM. His radio used to drop out so frequently. That is until XM put up more sat. towers in the urban area, now it rarely cuts out. Maybe it's where you live & how few sat. towers are around
  18. Just tried it in my IS250 AWD, worked like a charm, cranked up the send volume :) Now I don't have to yell on the hwy. Looks like there are a tonne of other functions in there, just scared to touch anything else, don't wanna screw up any of the default settings
  19. Seems like someone here must work for a dealership. My last 2 posts saying something negative about my experiences at my local Lexus dealership have been 'deleted'. I ignored it the first time, but a second time now... (shaking my head) B) Wonder if anyone will actually get to see this post
  20. I went from a Toyota to a Lexus, had no idea Lexus dealers charged so much for a simple oil change. Friend told me to buy the filter from Lexus Parts, shouldn't cost more than $10 & take the car to a Toyota dealership for the oil change. Called up Toyota, said they'd do the job for just $35 if I supply the ISS250 filter. Sounds good to me, going in on Monday
  21. I know that the microphone is up near the front light switches between the driver/passenger. Bluetooth sensor, dunno
  22. I agree, I think AFS is totally useless (for me anyway). I don't notice a difference in headlight aim from any of the non-AFS vehicles I have driven previously
  23. While in drive with my foot on the brake i've tried turning the steering a full left/right to see the movement of the adaptive headlights, but I don't see any response. & yes i'm sure AFS is turned on
  24. Happened to an elderly family member before, driving a Chrylser, swears she had her foot on the brake but we were all convinced it was on the accelerator
  25. I 2nd that, take a look at my location. Driving the streets/highways this past winter I had no problems getting through snow. Even finding those oh so sweet parking spots downtown & then seeing a tonne of snow on 'em, riding over that snow with my AWD I felt like I was behind the wheel of an SUV. Okay, not quite an SUV, but enough so that I never once got stuck anywhere this winter for a change
