  1. I have a 98 GS300 with 141K miles on it. The timing belt is original so it's overdue for changing. Has anyone used the "timing belt component packages" from Rock auto? http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=3290577&cc=1316103
  2. I recently purchased a 1999 Ls400. Lovely car, only 80K miles on it. However the driver side front door will not lock with the remote or the power button, only the key. Am I looking at replacing the actuator? I've read the many posts on DIY ebay motor replacement. Dont want to go through that unless I have to.
  3. Also, should the car be in park or neutral? The tranny fluid should be warmed up first, Then go through all of the gears and then back in park, Now check the fluid level with the car running, There are designated marks on the tranny dipstick
  4. Friend, There are two marks on the dipstick. The fluid is between the two marks. Is that about right? The tranny fluid should be warmed up first, Then go through all of the gears and then back in park, Now check the fluid level with the car running, There are designated marks on the tranny dipstick
  5. Hello All, I have a 1998 GS300, recently purchased 112,000mi. The trans seems to glide when I turn at about 15 mph. I want to check the trans fluid but am unsure how to read the dipstick. Can some one help with this? thanks
  6. Wow! Thanks a bunch. Perhaps, I'll give this a shot tomorrow. I have a day off.
  7. Friend, I have a 1999 es 300 that needs a new adio display, do you carry these? Please let me know, Russ
  8. Today I arrived at my car to find that someone must have backed into the driver side rear of my 1999 es300. The bumper cover has a volleyball sized dent in the corner. I want to pull it off and push it out. Can anyone help me with instructions on pulling it? Thanks, Russ
