  1. This is great! Many thanks for sharing.
  2. This is for 2005 but most of the stuff is the same. Free download. http://www.divshare.com/download/374763-3a8
  3. I just changed mine yesterday, with a $15 Purolator filter from the local major auto parts store. I didn't try it with the door on, but taking to door off / putting it back was simple. The OM's directions were perfect.
  4. Thanks for the responses guys. My car came used from carmax and it looks like the calipers may have been pained, silver, so the red or black logos should nice. Patrick
  5. I found some vinyl caliper decals for the IS300 on the internet. Does anyone have any experience with these? If so, my questions are: 1. How hard are they to install? 2. Do they last? 3. Will they cause any corrosion that would not otherwise occur? 4. Will they in any way affect my Lexus warranty? Thanks.
  6. Thanks guys. I will plan to do just that; enjoy the hell out of the car. In addition, I did buy a clay bar today for the overspray. :D
  7. Thanks. Sounds like sage advice. I've just been so anal about this car, it's driving my wife crazy.
  8. Thanks for the replies. The bolts look untouched / original, but I agree that overspray on the headlight would be highly unusual.
  9. I recently purchased a red 2002 IS300 from Carmax. When washing the car last night, I noticed some red paint on the bottom of one of the head lights and raised paint edges where the bumper cover attaches to the car under the hood? Does this definitely indicate that the bumper was repainted, or is it possible that it came from the factory like this? The color match between the bumper cover and the fender/rest of the car is perfect, and there are no other paint edges on the bumper cover or overspray. BTW, the car is great. Thanks.
