They refer to the car as an IS 250 F-sport. Was that a package, or does it imply it has the suspension and exhaust, or what? IS 350 AWD would be perfect, there is a lot to like about my 250 AWD, but an extra 100 hp would be incredible. ;)

I had a flat tire this week - with less than 1,000 miles on the car/tire - there was a screw in the treads nowhere near the sidewall. The car was going into Lexus for the 1 month look-see, so I asked them to fix it. They said it couldn't be repaired and wanted about $300 installed. The answer was "no" to questions about repairing the tire and road hazard type of coverage, so I told them to leave the screw in the car and give it back. I went down the road to the Discount Tire dealer I usually deal with. They looked at it and said definitely it can be repaired, pulled it in, patched the tire from the inside, rebalanced the wheel, and sent me on my way - for free! So far the tire seems fine. My dealer likes to replace things instead of even trying to repair, I hated the idea of buying a new tire when I just bought a car with new tires on it. Glad I went to a tire store for a second opinion before spending that money!

It took a couple more tries, but eventually one of them was at the right length of time and the magic message popped-up, thanks! It is nice being able to unbuckle as I turn into the driveway without that bell going nuts.

Are you clicking the seatbelt in while still holding the ODO button? I tried this a couple times last night on my 20090 IS250 with no luck. I'm sure it is operator error, just trying to narrow down that error!

Merry Christmas to me too - beginning of December I picked up an 09 IS 250 AWD in black. A little light on power, but that AWD really felt good last week when we had 2 days of freezing rain and slippery slop. Looking forward to learning about my new car from this group.
