Thanks Step Hen. I don't mind the formatt too much it is just that currently the GPS doesn't show any of the streets in the area I live. And this isn't a very new community. It also dosn'r seem to be able to find very many of the addresses I tyr to input. Do you think the newer versions would help with these problems? I also have a Garmin350 GPS - it seems to always find the addresses I'm looking for so I'm hoping that update the Lexus nav would provide the same results. Is the best place to get the update at a dealer? Or are there other good vendors that would cost less?

I just got a 2002 LS430. The GPS maps are pitiful. Ho do you know what the correct software to get is and how do I go about updating the maps??
